Our Rolling Road & Dyno in Rotherham

Here at MAD Automotive Ltd we have a 2wd rolling road (Dyno) in the workshop. Having this awesome tuning tool enables us to carry out data logging safely and efficiently. Hitting speeds of up to 160mph this just isn't possible on the public roads.

When you book in for a custom remap with us you will receive a dyno graph of the before and after power. Sometimes tuning on the dyno is extremely time consuming and we always advise dropping the vehicle off and leaving it with us. We don't usually talk about tuning in 'stages' because we believe we should custom tune your vehicle to achieve the best potential from it. Below is how long dyno tuning roughly takes us;

Stage 1

This is for standard (unmodified) vehicles. This level of tuning gives your vehicle more performance and better drive-ability while maintaining good fuel economy. This service usually takes up to 3 hours. 

Stage 2

This is for vehicles with minor hardware upgrades. When stage 2 tuning with minor upgrades we can request more power than stage 1 tuning. This service usually takes up to 4 hours.

Stage 3

This is for vehicles with serious hardware upgrades (hybrid turbos, camshafts, pulleys, injectors, fuel pumps etc). This service can take anything from 4 hours to 2 days due to the complexity.
