With our constantly updated diagnostic equipment and specially trained technicians, we are able to offer advanced, extensive diagnostic sessions to identify the fault with your vehicle. Diagnostic tests work by plugging in and communicating with your vehicle via the OBD port. An Engine Control Unit (ECU) constantly controls and monitors how your engine is performing. When the ECU identifies an error it registers a fault, known as a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). This will often then illuminate a warning on the instrument cluster. Via diagnostics we can investigate and test all control modules within the vehicles electrical system to quickly identify faults. Some fault finding requires data logging which can often be time consuming.

Having dealer level diagnostic tools plus additional testing tools allows us to provide a better than dealer diagnostic service on most makes and models. For most brands we have the same equipment as the dealer in regards to diagnostics, plus the other additional specialist tools required to give an accurate diagnosis. This allows us to efficiently diagnose and repair all types of faults on most makes and models. This includes physical and software repairs.
